Combine the Building Place Values and Jump out the Number activities.
Have students create a number with the number cards. Then, have them build the number using place value blocks or popsicle sticks. Once they have finished building the number, have them go through the Jump out the Number activity. As they say each number, have another student check the blocks/popsicle sticks to make sure they have the correct amount! If they both have the same number, the student counting the blocks/sticks will call back, “Check!”
