Do you want more success for your students? Do you want getting to that success to be more fun?
Teachers from the National Math Foundation’s 2015 Summer Institute had great things to say about the content and delivery of terrific kinesthetic learning techniques.
Here are some of their comments:
“Thank you for helping me grow my passion for teaching again! I felt like my time and teaching was in vain sometimes. You gave me something to be excited about again.”
“I learned so much and made wonderful contacts. Loved the warm atmosphere of the workshop. Thank you so much!”
“The Institute was awesome! I can’t wait to show the movements, mats, and data to the faculty at my school! I know they will be just as excited as I am! We are already looking forward to doing a Family Fun Night at our school!”
“The growth for me personally and for my student is amazing! This is a very powerful institute! Thank you!”
The National Math Foundation is offering two 2016 Summer Institutes: 1) June 13-16 in Chattanooga, Tennessee or 2) August 8-11 in Ithaca, New York.
As one of the primary content providers for the Summer Institute, we encourage classroom teachers, math coaches, PE teachers, special education, RTI specialists, and all other educators to attend this exciting professional development! During the Institute, participants will become fully trained on the Math & Movement program, gain valuable strategies to implement movement based learning in the classroom (not just Math & Movement), collaborate with same subject teachers, experience a variety of presentations from movement-based learning experts and use what they have learned with students.
NMF will also be conducting a Super Fun Math Camp with students in grades K-5 at the same time as the Institute. Participants will work one-on-one and in small groups with these students.
Another great advantage of attending this professional development is that participants who attend are allowed to bring their own children (grades K-5) to the camp for FREE!

Scholarships are available to teachers in some areas. There are also vendor opportunities for the event in Ithaca. Please reach out to the National Math Foundation at info@nationalmathfoundation.org.
Thank you for all you do for kids and your community!
