The ABCs of Math & Movement: Kinesthetic Strategies to Improve One-to-One Correspondence and Fluency for PreK-2nd Grade Students

Learn strategies to link movement to academic content and how to incorporate movement in virtual lessons.

This training will highlight the newly-released children’s book, The ABCs of Math & Movement by Suzy Koontz, which provides a series of counting movements based on each letter of the alphabet and a fun fact about an animal. For example, A is for alligator. Did you know that an alligator can jump up to six feet to catch food for its dinner? Let’s be alligators while we count to 20!
