Let your kids move – teach and learn colors the kinesthetic way!
Teaching and learning colors in preschool can go beyond crayons and coloring pages. Our Color Hop mat is the perfect tool for teaching colors to kids who love to move. They will learn about primary colors, secondary colors, and more!
This floor mat includes 12 color blocks with the name of each color in large type. The vibrant colors and kid-friendly text are meant to keep students engaged while learning.
This mat opens up new possibilities for color activities in your preschool class. Kids can walk, jump, skip, hop on one foot, or even crawl from color to color. The Color Hop encourages active learning while helping students develop gross motor skills.
Teaching colors with kinesthetic activities will help kids learn better and improve their memory retention. Early readers will have great confidence identifying colors and recognizing words as a result of using this mat!
Preschool kids do not like to sit still – make their color activities a time full of movement! Be sure to check out our activity database for ideas on teaching colors.
