Stay Home With Math & Movement Social Media Challenge

To kick off the end of the school year and the beginning of the summer, we have created the #stayhomewithmathandmovement challenge. Our goal is to encourage school administrators, teachers, parents, and students to stay active and creative while at home.

One winner will be selected to receive a free Skip Counting by 3s floor mat!

Math & Movement founder, Suzy Koontz, explains the challenge:

Create your own active math movement! A favorite animal or hobby is a great place to start. Then, select the multiple you want to count by. Cross-body movements are key to engaging both sides of the brain, so keep that in mind for your movement! For some extra inspiration, check out our Instagram, YouTube, or this page on our website.

Share your movement on social media. Tag @mathandmovement
and use the hashtag #stayhomewithmathandmovement.

Your post can be a video of you doing the movement or an image with your movement written out.
(see examples below)

Gallop to the left. Whisper, _one._ Gallop to the right. Whisper, _two._ Clap and shout‚ _THREE!_ Continue all the way to thirty! (1)
