Floor Mat Material: Our floor mats are made from heavy-duty vinyl. They are easy to clean, durable, and long-lasting. Some teachers have used their mats for over 10 years!

Laminated Mat Material: Laminated Floor Mats combine the power of our heavy-duty vinyl material with dry-erase laminate. The laminate works well with a dry-erase marker and can be cleaned easily. *Note: Dry-erase mats are not slip-resistant. Place the mats in safe, non-high-traffic areas.

Jump Out the Number

• Create a number on the mat, going up to the place value you are working on in class.
• Have students jump out the number.
  • Example: 5,608 Jump on the five. Say  “five”.
• Jump on the 1000,  Say “thousand”.
• Jump on the six, say “six”.
• Jump on the 100. Say “hundred”.
• Jump OVER the zero.
  • Emphasize that the zero’s are skipped and not said.
• Jump on the eight. Say “and eight”.
