Practice counting on a large horizontal number line! Available as a floor mat, sticker, or carpet sticker. Then, select your choice of numbers -10 to 10 or 0 to 20. Next, choose your layout option of a single number line below the hash marks or a double number line with the numerals both above and below the hash marks. Select in the drop-down menu below.

Materials
Floor Mat Material: Our floor mats are made from heavy-duty vinyl. They are easy to clean, durable, and long-lasting. Some teachers have used their mats for over 10 years!

Sticker Material: Each sticker is 6.4 mm thick and laminated for extra protection. Our stickers are made with the latest advancements in 3M adhesive technology so applications are easy, quick, and hassle-free.

Carpet Sticker Material: Each sticker is 6.6 mm thick and laminated for extra protection. For best results, install stickers on short nap/low pile carpets.
Sample Activity
Step Forward and Backward (-10 to 10 Version)
  • Have your student stand on 0.
  • Instruct them to step forward 4 times. They should be standing on the number 4.
  • Then, instruct them to step backward 6 times. They should be standing on the number -2.
  • Continue this using different amounts of steps. Optionally, encourage students to recite the numbers aloud as they step on each one.
  • Explain to your students that they are actually adding and subtracting with positive and negative numbers when they step forward and backward.
