PROGRAM GUIDE
Thank you for participating in a Math & Movement Program! We are so excited to see how much your students progress over the next few months. We have created this guide to help with many FAQs. Please reach out if you still have questions about any elements of running your program.

STEP 1: Pre-Survey
Before you begin your program, we want you to spend a little time reflecting on your goals for your students and yourself as an educator.
STEP 2: Pre-Testing
Before students use the floor mats, they will all complete a pre-test. These pre-tests are provided by Math & Movement to ensure similar tracking and data across schools.
To protect student privacy, please assign each student a number that they will use for all pre and post-tests. They will enter this number in the first question of the tests. This ensures we are tracking data anonymously but are still able to link the information across all three tests.
Please make sure you are using our provided Pre-Tests. You can find the corresponding pre-tests by looking for your mat on the left sidebar under Pre- and Post-Tests. You will submit the Pre-Test information in the Post-Survey once your program is completed.
STEP 3: Using the Mats and Taking Photos
Throughout the three-month program, you will be using your floor mat(s) with the students at an interval that works best for your curriculum. (You will be able to indicate how much time students used the mats in the post-survey.) We have supplied digital activity guides to help you come up with activities for the mats. You can find the corresponding Activity Guides by looking for your mat(s) on the left sidebar.
During the course of the program, we ask that you take photographs and/or videos of your students in action using the mats and of your setup/location of the mats in your school. These will be used on your school’s “Success Story” page to help promote similar programs in other schools. By collecting photos and videos, you will be able to inspire other educators to bring move movement to the school day! Please make sure to only take photographs of students who have completed photo releases. You will submit any photographs in the Post-Survey once your program is completed.
STEP 4: Post-Testing
At the one-month and three-month marks, students will all complete a post-test. These posts-tests are provided by Math & Movement to ensure similar tracking and data across schools.
Please make sure you are using our provided One and Three Month Post-Tests. You can find the corresponding post-tests by looking for your mat on the left sidebar under Pre- and Post-Tests. You will submit the two Post-Test results in the Post-Survey once your program is completed.
Please remind students of their student numbers before taking the tests!
STEP 5: Post-Survey
After the three-month program, you will submit your Post-Survey. This allows us to collect all of the pre- and post-test data, photographs, testimonials, and other comments that we can use for studies and your school’s “Success Story” page.
