Supplemental Math Help Students Get Caught Up With Courses on ‘Hard to Learn’ Concepts

Provide supplemental math on the topics you need your students to learn while generating parental engagement! Book 1-hour virtual sessions for families. Each session is led by a K-6 Math & Movement Educator. Topics include addition, subtraction, multiplication, geometry, and more. We’ll share fun math games to play at home using our desktop stickers. Each course is aligned to state standards and tailored to fit the curriculum goals of grades K-6.

Telling Time: Elapsed Time

Course Description: Help students grasp the concepts of telling time, elapsed time, and more with this mini clock sticker. The sticker is dry erase allowing for fun, engaging activities to be completed.

Take-Home Materials: Participating families will receive a 12’ by 12’ clock sticker that can either be placed on either desktop or wall surfaces. Students will be able to use the sticker throughout the course and after for additional practice.

Building Number Sense: Addition/Subtraction

Kindergarten-6th Grade

Course Description: Help build student number sense and confidence with this dry erase 100 number grid. Teach students number patterns, rounding, addition, subtraction, and other fundamental math concepts.

Take-Home Materials: Participating families will receive a laminated 12’ by 12’ hundred number grid sticker that can either be placed on either desktop or wall surfaces. Students will be able to use the sticker throughout the course and after for additional practice.

Geometry: Shapes and Angles

Course Description: Teach students the fundamentals of geometry with engaging desktop stickers. Pair lessons with kinesthetic hands-on teach strategies. The visuals from the stickers help teach hard-to-learn geometry concepts in fun new ways.

Take-Home Materials: Participating families will receive a geometry desktop sticker, angle hop desktop sticker, and a 180 degree desktop sticker.

Course Description: Multiplication is introduced in third grade, however, many students get it confused with addition and have a hard time grasping the concept of multiplication. Build student fluency with this three-part course on multiplication.

Course Description: Sometimes the most frequent question you will hear a fourth-grader ask is, “why would ½ be bigger than 1/8th? After all 8 is so much bigger than 2. Many students need visual and additional practice to fully understand equivalent fractions. Fractions can be the building block for many math concepts so it is crucial that students have a strong understanding of them.
