Activity Instructions

Have students make two fractions on the mat with the same denominator using the number cards. Then, have students choose the addition or subtraction symbol. Have them either add or subtract and make the sum/difference after the equal sign. For higher level students, make fractions with different denominators and convert before adding or subtracting.
