Activity Instructions

Place blocks/sticks in the “whole” square. Have students work together to see how many different combinations of parts they can make to equal the same whole. Continue with many different “whole” numbers. For example, if 8 is the whole, the parts could be 1 and 7, 2 and 6, 3 and 5, 4 and 4.
