3D Shape Hop

The 3D Shape Hop features six common 3D shapes—sphere, rectangular prism, cube, pyramid, cylinder, and cone. Each space depicts a shape and its name that students learn to recognize by hopping on the mat. Students can also learn how to decompose compound shapes using the included cards. Each card features a composite shape. Students place the card on the mat and analyze the complex shape. Then, they identify the basic three-dimensional components that form it.
