Hop by Hundreds

This is the Hop by Hundreds floor mat. The floor mat contains multiples of 100 up to 1,000. This mat helps students practice skip counting multiples of 100 as well as adding and subtracting by 100. Use the Hop by Hundreds floor mat to help students understand multiplying and dividing numbers by 10 and 100 and skip counting by 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, etc. Each box alternates colors, offering visual differentiation of the numbers

        1. Rounding

          Create notecards with numbers ranging from 100 to 1,000. Have a student select a card. The student will round that number to the closest hundred and hop to that number.
