Sample Activity: Classic Hopscotch

• Have your student start by jumping with two feet on each numeral 1 (one foot on each numeral 1). Have the student say “one plus one” out loud.
• Next, have the student jump on the numeral 2 with both feet, clap, and recite “equals two” out loud.
• Repeat these movements with each doubles addition fact all the way up the mat.
