Activity Instructions

Have a student begin at START HERE. Have them follow this pattern down the mat:
Hop to the red block and say, “one.”
Hop on the green zero block and say, “zero.” Hop on the red one block and say, “plus one,” Hop on the blue one block and say, “equals one.”
Hop on the red one block and say, “one.” Hop on the blue one block and say, “plus one.” Hop on the orange two block and say, “equals two.”

As they hop, they are creating the addition problem that creates the Fibonacci Numbers.
