Activity Instructions

A student should jump around the mat from block to block until they are told to stop. When they are told to stop by a spectator but not look at what they have stopped on. The spectator tells them either the sample sentence on the mat, the definition of an original sentence using the mark the student is on. The student then asks the question that would go with the answer given. Spectator, “This ends sentences beginning in who, what, where.”
Student on the mat, “What is a question mark.”
The student on the mat can then look where they are standing to check their answer.
