Activity Instructions

Give a student a multiplication by twelve problem (verbally, flashcard, worksheet, etc.).
Example: 12 x 6
The student will begin on 0. They will jump forward 6 times, only landing on the multiples of 12. When they land on the sixth number, 72, they will say, โ€œ12 x 6 = 72.โ€

You can also have students practice each multiplication fact as they hop down the mat:
Jump on 12. Say, โ€œ12 x 1 = 12.โ€ Jump on 24. Say, โ€œ12 x 2 = 24,โ€ etc.
