Activity Instructions

Say three letter sounds (that create a word) and have a student find the matching letter cards. Then, have them jump on the letters they found and say the word they made. For example, if you say, “mmm”, they will find the ‘M’ card and place it on the mat. You say the short i sound, they find the ‘I’ card and place it in the next square on the mat. Then say, ‘t.’ They find the ‘T’ card and place it on the third square on the mat. Then, the student jumps the letters and says “mit.”
