Activity Instructions

Divide your students into groups of three. Give each pair various fractions to order. For example, order the following fractions from smallest to largest, ¾, ½, and ⅛ .

Each student will stand on one fraction and determine the order based on where they are standing on the mat. Have the students work through each question on the worksheet using this same process.
