Activity Instructions

Write +10, -10, +20, -20, +30, -30, +40, -40, +50, -50, +60, -60, +70, -70, +80, -80, +90, -90 on index cards. Have students stand on the mat wherever they want. Choose a card from the deck and call out the number. For example, you can draw +20. Then you would say, “Add 20”, and students would add 20 to the number they are standing on by moving down the mat.
