Help your students learn about common homophones in a fun way!
Learning about homophones can be tricky for young students, but is an essential step towards creating strong, confident readers. Our Homophone Hopscotch Mat is here to help with that by making learning common homophones a fun, movement-based activity. This colorful mat is suitable for 2nd and 3rd grade literacy activities and is a great way for students to learn about words that sound the same.
This floor mat features 8 sets of common homophones in a hopscotch format. At 32 inches wide and 181 inches long, this mat has plenty of space for multiple students to play and learn. Whether using it for English class or during free time, this mat encourages active learning and collaborative play.
After hopping on this mat, young students will be able to read and write these homophones. Movement will help boost their word recognition and reading comprehension along the way.
