Have students hop both feet onto 1 and 1. Then, have them hop one foot on the product, 1. Continue with this pattern (two and two, and then the product, four, and so on). As they hopscotch down the mat, encourage them to shout out the multiplication sentence they are on. For example, 1 times 1 is 1! 2 times 2 is 4!
