#1 – Toshiba

Funding is intended to increase student success-rates by introducing creative project-based learning ideas that will make STEM learning fun.

  • Requirements: K-12 Educators
  • Funding: $1000 (K-5 Educators), $5000+ (6-12 Educators)
  • Deadlines:
    • 10/01/2020 ($1000 grants)
    • 11/01/2020 ($5000+ grants)
    • 12/01/2020 ($5000 grants)

#2 – Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) Community Grants

Grants may be awarded to individual teachers or groups of teachers who demonstrate creative teaching methods to students of Cooperative member-owners.

  • Requirements: K-12 Teachers
  • Funding: REC will award two $5000 grants and four $2000 grants
  • Deadline: 10/15/2020

#3 – Diane and Ben Lee Design Education Fund

Grants may be awarded to schools, teachers, groups, or individuals actively pursuing to design curriculum in their school or educational entity that directly benefits New Jersey K-12 students.

  • Funding: up to $2500

#4 – Jovia Financial Funding Your Ideas (FYI) Teacher Grants

Jovia’s Funding Your Ideas (FYI) Teacher Grant program provides up to $500 to eligible teachers and educators. This grant program brings ideas to life in the classroom.

  • Requirements: pre-K through 12th grade in Nassau or Suffolk County (includes private, public, or parochial schools)
  • Funding: up to $500
  • Deadline: 10/31/2020

#5 – Entergy’s Micro Grants Program

Entergy’s Micro Grants Program, accepts requests for up to $1,000 in all program areas: arts and culture; community improvement/enrichment; economic development, education/literacy, environment, and healthy families. 

  • Requirements: a school, hospital, governmental unit or religious institution that holds nonprofit status similar to that of 501(c)(3) organizations
  • Funding: up to $1,000
  • Deadline: Ongoing

BONUS #6 – City National Bank Literacy Grants

Funding is intended to enhance literacy. Funding may be used to purchase books, software and hardware, CDs, DVDs, and other educational resources.

  • Requirements: Grant for educators in select counties in California, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, Washington D.C., New York, Tennessee, and Georgia (click the link for specific counties).
  • Funding: Up to $1000
