Plenty of number activities are possible with this floor mat or sticker. Practice writing numbers in words by tracing each letter with two fingers. Learn numbers by jumping down the number line and shouting each number’s name. Convert a number into a word by finding its block on the product.

Sample Activity: Mystery Numbers for Kindergarten

• Tell your students that you are thinking of a number. Then, describe either the shape of the number or the letter in its name. For example, “This number has five letters in its name. It is made of only straight lines and its name begins with an S.”
• Your students will guess the number. Have them hop to that number on the mat.
