Sample Activity: Number Line Activity To Learn Fruits And Vegetables

• First, have a student start on one food and say the food name and number.
• Then, have the student jump to another block and say the new food name and number.
• Finally, have the student add the new food to the previous food.
• For example, the student may start on one and say “one banana”. Then, they may jump to the apricots and say “Four apricots. One banana plus four apricots equals five fruits!”
• Interchange between fruits and vegetables.
